Jay Levine is executive vice president and chief technology officer for Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, where he leads product development efforts for all areas of the company’s content, software development and project management operations. He is also responsible for establishing the company’s overall product technology strategy. He reports directly to the president and chief executive officer of Wolters Kluwer Financial Services.
An articulate product development and technology leader, Levine joined Wolters Kluwer Financial Services in 2004 from Thomson West, where he was vice president of Software Development. In that role he oversaw all technical strategy, planning and development for a variety of Web-enabled businesses. Levine also led the high-profile integration of the company’s ASP technology solution suite into ProLaw, an industry-leading software solution that automates the practice and management of the business of law.
Levine also held several other leadership roles at other Thomson businesses, including senior director of Architecture and Program Management for Thomson West; and chief technology officer at Information Access Co., a unit of Thomson Learning’s Gale Group. Earlier in his career, he managed large-scale development and systems integration projects with federal government security and defense organizations.
Levine holds Master of Science degrees from the University of Minnesota and George Mason University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland.
