WALTHAM , Mass. – May 8, 2008 – Wolters Kluwer Financial Services announced today that Pam Ewing has been named director of Product Management for the company’s Insurance Compliance Solutions group.

In her new role, Ewing is responsible for the leadership of the Insurance Compliance Solutions Product Management area, which works with insurance carriers to identify new compliance tools and services that will address their specific needs. Additionally, Ewing participates in shaping the strategic direction for Insurance Compliance Solutions.

A former producer, underwriter and regulator, Ewing has worked in the insurance industry for more than 20 years. Most recently, she served as senior product manager within Wolters Kluwer Financial Services’ Insurance Compliance Solutions group. Since joining the insurance team at Wolters Kluwer Financial Services nine years ago, she has held various roles within Operations Management, Sales Management and Product Management. Prior to joining the company, she worked at Maine Bureau of Insurance as director of Financial Analysis. She was also Property & Casualty division supervisor at Maine Bureau of Insurance.

Ewing earned her M.B.A. and Bachelor in Business Studies (B.B.S.) from Thomas College in Waterville, Maine. She also holds the Certified Insurance Examiner designation from the Insurance Regulatory Examiners Society, as well as the Charter Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU), and Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) designations from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (AICPCU).
