Wolters Kluwer’s
Finance, Risk & Reporting (FRR) business in North America has won two
awards from US Business News magazine. It has been named Best
Financial Risk & Compliance Technology Firm, 2018, with the OneSumX suite of
solutions also winning Most Innovative RegTech System, 2018.
The
accolades, which celebrate excellence and innovation, mark the first occasion
that Wolters Kluwer’s FRR business has won an award specifically for the North
America region.
The awards were decided by an expert panel of judges,
including the editorial team at US Business News. The magazine,
published by AI Global Media, has a subscriber base of more than 175,000
business and professional service providers, including CEOs, partners, directors
and litigators.
“The volume of new regulatory requirements is driving
demand for our superior product capabilities across a wide variety of areas.
This ranges from regulatory reporting solutions, both in the U.S. and Canada,
and the wide spectrum of risk and finance solutions-to-solutions that
specifically address the upcoming Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) standard,”
said Todd Lawrence, General Manager of Wolters Kluwer’s FRR business in North
America. “It’s incredibly pleasing to receive independent recognition of the
work we have done in the region to offer exceptional products and services that
meet exacting client needs. We thank our clients for their valued feedback and
look forward to continuing to deliver excellence and innovation to the
market.”
Wolters Kluwer’s FRR business is a global market leader in the
provision of integrated regulatory compliance and reporting solutions,
supporting regulated financial institutions in meeting their obligations to
external regulators and their own boards of directors. It receives frequent
independent recognition of its excellence and innovation. Chartis Research, for
example, named the firm a Category Leader in both its CECL Report and IFRS 9
Technology Solutions Report. In July 2018, meanwhile, Risk magazine awarded the firm its coveted Regulatory
Reporting System of The Year Award and Central Banking magazine recently named OneSumX for
Regulatory Reporting its Best Technology Solution For Regulatory Compliance.
Both awards celebrate success in the field globally.
