After the account agreement or application has been completed, the applicant will not only need all the required disclosures, but copies of the necessary documents for their new account. During the account-opening process, applicant data is verified based on the information provided from your customer/member. Additional explanation from the applicant may be necessary before the account is opened. There may also be a need to provide the applicant with additional disclosures, such as a denial notice, after information received from the applicant and/or any outside data sources (i.e., credit reporting agency) is reviewed.
