Interface Developers Kit (IDK)

The Interface Developers Kit (IDK) is a toolkit provided by Wolters Kluwer Financial Services to provide partners and customers with the relevant reference material to assist with the creation of custom Import and Export Interfaces with the ComplianceOne® solution. The IDK is designed to be used by technical resources such as Software Engineers developing software.

The IDK Contains These Key Elements

• Documentation
  • IDK Overview Guide, which provides reference material related to the IDK and its components.
  • WKFS Interface Manager User Guide, which provides step-by-step instructions for using WKFS Interface Manager with ComplianceOne.
  • IDK Developers Guide, a separate document which provides instructions and samples for creating interface components.
• API
  • Code used to call the interface web service.
  • Documentation to describe the individual APIs available for use by a web application.
• Schema and Mappings
  • Secondary Data Capture (SDC) schema, these .xsd files have all data points.
  • XML file documentation to describe the data items mapped to the extended 3.1 mismo schema.
• Sample Interface
  • To use as a sample interface for reference when creating an interface.
• Sample Transactions
  • To use for testing the sample interface. Provides example transaction data to use in place of creating test data within ComplianceOne.
